Community Pre-School and Day Nursery located in Strood, Rochester. We offer a friendly and welcoming environment for all families.
Our aim is to treat every child as an individual. We will strive to nurture their interests through play and build their confidence and curiosity by supporting them to be independent, critical thinkers with their own minds, questions and ideas! We are inclusive to all and lead by example.
We Aim to build strong relationships with parents, carers and families by communicating regularly and working together to support our children.
We have an open door policy for staff and families.
The nursery is set out over two rooms with a lovely shaded garden. Our main room is used for mixed age groups 2-4 years and we have a separate sensory room where children can take part in smaller group activities and sleep in a peaceful environment should they require a nap at nursery.
Safeguarding children is always our top priority and at the forefront of everything we do. At Rainbows Day Nursery, we have robust safeguarding and health and safety procedures in place to ensure every child receives the very best care.
We recognise that parents and carers are the first educators of their children, and we aim to build strong relationships with you for the benefit of your child. We believe that children need consistent, safe, and nourishing environments whether that be at home or at nursery.
This is why a good partnership between the two is paramount for achieving the best start for each child. We communicate with parents and carers with regular updates via our online platform Tapestry, assessment reports and termly stay and play sessions.
Community Pre-school and day nursery offering term time and year round care for children aged 2 to 4 years old. Our setting is newly refurbished, children have free flow access to our large garden including an outdoor sensory/story time area. Activities are set according to our nursery curriculum in our main room and children benefit from a separate sensory room for small group time and sleep time if required.
